Mediahuis, IPM, Pebble Media and Skynet offer free banners to local merchants
On Friday March 27th, Mediahuis, IPM, Pebble Media and Skynet are launching 'Samen Impact / Ensemble Impact', offering free banners on their websites to local merchants. The initiative supports this group, which has been particularly affected by the coronavirus crisis, with marketing and communication resources. Even in times of crisis, it remains important to communicate with customers.
In addition, MH Brand Studio has created a content platform on the Mediahuis news sites, gathering positive and inspiring stories about creative entrepreneurship in times of corona crisis.
Large companies support the local sector The campaign also allows large companies to participate in the project. Each week, one brand is offered exclusive visibility as a partner. The campaign will run until 30 April inclusive, but can be extended further.
Geert Desager, Strategy Director Advertising at Mediahuis: "We see that as a media company and regional player we have a crucial value today. Not only in the eyes of our readers, but also in the eyes of our advertisers. With 'Samen Impact / Ensemble Impact', we are really looking to do more than just support. The free provision of online media space creates the opportunity for small businesses to gain access to a new customer base, thereby overcoming a difficult period." Koen Van Rhijn, CEO Pebble Media: "We are happy to participate in any initiative to support the economy in general and the local economy in particular. As digital players, we have the technological know-how and data to reach local entrepreneurs in an efficient and effective way. As collaboration is embedded in our DNA, we are excited about this initiative and look forward to hearing from local businesses." Henry Visart, COO of IPM Group: "Solidarity movements are being created everywhere. It was normal that local media players join forces to help local shopkeepers. We would like to thank our media partners who helped us to put this great initiative in place." Bart Swimberghe, Head of Smart Advertising Solutions at Skynet: "In these difficult times, collaboration is crucial and we are therefore very pleased to be able to support the local economy with this joint initiative."
